Law possesses the Paramecia-type Devil Fruit known as the Ope Ope no Mi, which grants him the power to create a spherical domain, or "operating room", in which he can freely manipulate, rearrange, and remodel anything and anyone, including himself. He can move objects and people within this sphere telekinetically, and even swap their locations via teleportation. Law's alliance with Luffy
Trafalgar D. Water Law, commonly known as Trafalgar Law, is a pirate from the North Blue and the captain and doctor of the Heart Pirates. Law is introduced in One Piece as the final Supernova to be introduced, sitting on a crate as another Supernova, X Drake, passes by. Law first meets the Straw Hat Pirates, of which Luffy is the captain, on Sabaody Archipelago.
Law and Luffy's paths cross again when Luffy breaks into the Auction House and attacks one of the World Nobles. Law is seen smiling at Luffy's reckless action.
