The Motivation Behind Law's Warlord Ambitions

Trafalgar Law became a Warlord of the Sea by sending the World Government the hearts of 100 pirates. Caesar wouldn't have tolerated Law on the island if he couldn't get a sense of security from the World Government, and the Shichibukai status gave him and his associates impunity, keeping the World Government out of Punk Hazard. Law was waiting for an opportunity to sabotage the SAD/SMILE production so Kaido would kill the man in charge: Donquixote.

Being a Warlord gave him access to Punk Hazard, and he wanted to destroy the SAD factory to anger Kaido and get him to kill Donquixote. However, things didn't go exactly according to plan.

To take down Kaido
